CAM FFA this Fall

The CAM FFA has had a busy fall. The members had a kick off barbque and hay ride to invite new and potential new members to their Sept meeting. The new Greenhand members participated at the district Greenhand Fire up camp in Audubon. Five members competed at district soils contest at IWCC. To finish the month we had four of our members selected to run for homecoming queen with Nicky Ohms being selected. So the month of Sept.was great for the CAM FFA

FFA Members babysit for open house

Tuesday the 26th FFA Members helped babysit for the Anita Elementary's Open house. While parents were inside their children were able to play outside with the supervision of the high schools ffa members.

Farm Progress show.


Mr. Miller took students to the farm progress show in Boone on Thursday the 28th. The students had jobs of pickings up pamphlets and talking with people in that area job force to help them with future class projects.

Summer Events


The FFA Chapter has been very active through-out the summer. We have participated in the mud drags, livestock judging, 25 members showed at the county fair with a few running for king and queen candidates, a few members showed at the state fair, 6 ushered at the state fair, we took part in moving items from the elementary over to the middle school, and there was an officer trip to lake Okoboji. The chapter is tying off it's summer activities and ready to make a positive start with the new school year right around the corner.
